very intense!! I typically need more intense vibrating, & this toy delivers even on the lowest setting! if you want something more subtle, this isn't for you. the movement of the mouth creates some suction without the risk of breaking the toy if moisture gets sucked into the motor since there's no hole/fan creating it.
